Mieza pleasantly surprises visitors with the Balcón de la Code, which is built on top of an extraordinary crag more than 700 metres tall. It is a spot where precipitous granite faults stretch down into the depths of the river. In Mieza there are four more viewpoints: Peña del Agua, Peña de la Salve, Colagón del Tío Paco and Mirador del Cura. Back at the town one can visit the Ermita de la Virgen del Árbol, the Ermita del Santo Cristo and the Iglesia de San Sebastián.
