During the month of May, we'll enjoy a new film series. This time, it features Chinese cinema and was organized thanks to the collaboration of the Chinese Embassy in Spain.

"THE MESSAGE" (FENG SHENG), 2009, directed by Chen Guofu and Gao Qunshu

The film combines real events with fictionalized accounts of those fighting for the liberation of the country occupied by Japanese invaders during World War II. In order to solve a series of murders involving several high-ranking Japanese officials in China, Japan's intelligence chief gathers a group of suspects in a huge mansion for interrogation. That's when a tense game of cat and mouse begins.
