EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN "FROM THE TIP TO THE NUT"

A family, children's, and educational show. This is the second part of the acclaimed "Dance and its Small Audience."

From the perspective of each character, we piece together a short story of love for dance, of camaraderie, of "small tragedies" that, thanks to the effort, support of the group, and the complicity between them, are resolved satisfactorily.

The message is clear: dance is a set of techniques at the service of each performer. No one has the absolute truth, and it's good to share every experience, because through sharing, the dancer grows, and so does the dance.

In this second part, we thought it would be very interesting for our little ones to show them a dance show that would clearly and simply explain the evolution of this art form, from something as well-known as Ballet to "Twerking," hence our title "From Tip to Nut."

It's hard for us adults to assimilate and recognize that there are other ways of expressing ourselves within dance than those of a ballet dancer, a Spanish dancer, a flamenco dancer, or a contemporary dancer, to give four common examples that are well-known to the vast majority of people.

However, there are other realities when it comes to expressing oneself through movement, and these are becoming accepted even by professional dancers and choreographers. Our social media platforms are filled with videos featuring countless new styles, as well as television commercials, films, skill competitions, and much more, which have naturally gained importance in the art of dance.

Dance has always been one step ahead, proposing changes in aesthetics; it is, in short, the battering ram and vanguard of the performing arts.

Genre: Dance Style: Multidisciplinary Duration: 60 min.

Show included in the programming of the Scenic Circuits of Castilla y León.
