Presentation of two books: The Search and the Kidnapping by Pedro Chitay.

Pedro Chitay completed his primary education in his hometown of San Martín Jilotepeque, then continued his academic training at a boarding school in the department of Sololá, where he earned his primary education. He later moved to Guatemala City to continue his secondary education and university studies. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in his home country. He also earned another master's and doctorate in Spain.

Flashes of Participation . The Kidnapping. The novel presented here is based on events that occurred between 1974 and 1981, about the life of an indigenous leader and his family. Several events occur during his involvement in the social, political, religious, and cultural life of one of the country's largest indigenous groups.

The search . Life goes on for the family, who, after their father's kidnapping, had long, dark days ahead. Now a frantic search began, one that, due to the harshness of reality, becomes a tunnel with no exit.

He took them to visit prisons, military command posts, cemeteries, the city morgue, and hospitals, but with no good results. In fact, the indifference and rejection of them as indigenous people was evident in the care they received, but they continued to insist.

It is necessary to pick up a pass 30 minutes in advance.
