On Friday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m. , in the Auditorium of the Public Library of Palencia , the presentation of the book Angel by Javier Gonzalez Castellano, a teacher specialized in emotional intelligence (UNIR) will take place.

The book was born out of the need to give voice to a reality that affects us all: suicide prevention . Unfortunately, 11 people die by suicide every day in Spain. The book arose from what happened to Mario, the son of some friends of the author, who decided to take his own life at just 19 years old. That day Mario became Angel and that is where the title of the book comes from.

Angel is a tribute to all the families who have gone through this situation and who have had to learn to live after such a devastating loss. It is also a message of hope and life. Through 11 chapters, each one starring a survivor, Mario's friends, parents and brother, a narrative is developed that combines the power of stories with emotional intelligence tools to help us manage our emotions and understand ourselves better. Giving words and a voice to the survivor not only heals , but saves lives .
