Opening on Friday, March 21 at 7 p.m. Collective of Artists and Performers Entredessiguales.
The exhibition revolves around the figure of Don Quixote de la Mancha, a work by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, universally known and sometimes called the "Prince of Wits"
Don Honoré Daumier was the first French realist painter to begin creating works inspired by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra's novel Don Quixote de la Mancha. One of his first oil paintings on canvas (52 x 32.6 cm) dates from 1868. He produced around 25 oil paintings, watercolours and charcoal drawings of Don Quixote alone or with Sancho Panza.
The Entredessiguales Collective of Artists and Performers wants to commemorate the great playwright with a set of works that highlight the creativity, elegance, sensations, and originality of their authors. This exhibition will be made up of about 25 works. The collective is made up of: FELIX PEREZ G., ERNESTO F. CONTIN, ERASMO TORRES, BERNARDO TOME, ALVARO DA SILVA and ANTONIO DOÑATE.
