ROPE

Hanna enters a holistic treatment center to recover from the grief of her husband's death. Creative, cultured, a well-positioned woman, mother of six children, and heiress of a large family business, which until now was controlled by her husband, she finds herself at an emotional crossroads, which she hopes to resolve with this voluntary admission. Little by little, her emotional instability will worsen during her stay. She does not understand why. She has everything within her reach, but even so she cannot recover. She becomes increasingly isolated and depressed. Salvador, the therapist who accompanies her, serves as both a counselor and inevitably a jailer. Lies, betrayals and power struggles have been so present in her life that she has been unable to see them. Testimonies from people who have gone through the same thing make her feel that she is not alone and that there is a solution to her illness. An unexpected turn will jeopardize what she hoped would be a quick recovery.
