On February 19 , at 7:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Palencia Public Library, as part of the activities of the Art and Literature: Reading, Seeing and Thinking cycle that the 34th Palencia International Film Festival is taking place at the library , the 1975 film Furtivos by Jose Luis Borau will be screened.

Angel (Ovidi Montllor) is a poacher who lives with his mother (Lola Gaos), a domineering and violent woman, in a hunting reserve in Segovia. Angel hunts wolves and other wild animals in order to protect the reserve's deer and sell their meat and skins. On a trip to the city, he meets Milagros (Alicia Sanchez), a young woman who escaped from a reformatory and is the lover of a known criminal. When Angel takes her to his house, an enmity arises between the mother and Milagros, which, together with the attraction that Angel feels towards the young woman, will lead to a drama.
