"Las Tardes Musicales" begins with a musical climatic tetralogy that invites us on a sonic journey where art and meteorology intertwine, revealing how the weather has been a creative driving force throughout the history of music. In this lecture Manuela del Caño will explore how classical music composers have attempted to capture the essence of the weather and the seasons and we will analyze how the representation of the weather not only evokes atmospheric states, but reflects human emotions and cultural narratives and the symbiosis between man and nature. Starting with the cold winter.
