Imagination Theatre presents: With the Eyes of a Poet.

With the Eyes of a Poet . The story takes place in the home of an old woman called Petrita, who was a student of Don Antonio Machado at the Segovia Institute. Petrita has a very special room in her house, in which everything is covered with large white canvases. In this room, one must daydream and observe "With the Eyes of a Poet", because every time a canvas is removed, an object related to the life and work of Machado appears. When all the furniture, books, clothes, photographs… are in view, the spectator has discovered one of the most admired poets in our literature.

The LA IMAGINACIÓN theatre company was founded in Segovia in 2010 as a result of the union of several artists from different specialities, with the intention of creating shows that mix different techniques, clown, puppets, music... Our company has been characterised by the staging of street shows and dramatised visits, of our own creation, with live music, aimed at an audience of all ages. Progressively over these years we have been incorporating new shows to our repertoire, some of them in a small format for children's audiences, maintaining the staging in direct contact with the public and oral narration.
