Presentation of the book "Huerto de San Vicente" by Concha Pelayo

"The "Huerto de San Vicente" is a timeless mirror before which Concha Pelayo stands, savouring the rhythm of Lorca's verses and bringing her baggage as a woman to pulse with the fresh emotion of writing a profound poetic encounter. As if she were Lorca herself, in a mirror-like manner she amends and adds words that are perceived as similar, resonating in the Lorca's words with this reflective effect, which allows her to share the Granadan in her poetic dance."

Concha Pelayo was born in Muelas del Pan (Zamora), where her literary vocation was forged thanks to the stories told to her by her mother, a great storyteller, and the constant contemplation of the landscape of her land. Her work can be found in numerous books, magazines, catalogues, print media, blogs and on the Internet.
