This exhibition examines the realities of refugees around the world, showing data that allow us to understand the causes of migration and the consequences they have for the people who suffer from them. It does so by making visible seven realities of chronic violence (in Colombia, Ethiopia, Haiti, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Syria, South Sudan and Ukraine) that exemplify how the passage of time turns these countries and their people into the great forgotten ones.

Salesian Missions (MS) is a non-profit organization that has been working since 1970 to promote, protect and educate children and youth to foster their integral development, paying special attention to the most vulnerable in impoverished countries. At MS we promote the solidarity of people in order to make them co-participants in the mission and generate changes to transform society. The photographs are part of the Salesian Missions archive.
