This text is written based on the interventions of the character of Poncia in the work of Federico García Lorca. In a deep analysis of the character I have rescued Poncia's interventions and turned them into reflection, into soliloquies, into dialogues with ghosts and shadows. In this way, a new look inside the house is illuminated. In the original work we witness a succession of events that unfold, here, in this Poncia, not. She speaks after the shock caused by Adela's suicide. Everything happens after his death.

Poncia's tongue is unleashed in a place forbidden to words. Poncia settles accounts with the inhabitants who survive inside. We discover Poncia's sympathy for the youngest of the house. She vindicates her, "A brave female has died," she says, and blames herself for not having done more than she did to separate the clandestine lovers. La Poncia has always suggested to me like no other character who lives in Bernarda Alba's house. The characters of the maids contain an interesting enigma.

They are characters who are witnesses of the protagonists' vicissitudes. They know the truth of the interior of houses and possess the hidden philosophy of the popular classes.

We hear the voice of the maid to illuminate the corners of Lorca's work. La Poncia speaks of suicide, of freedom, of guilt, of class, of education, of sex and she speaks with all the strength of the voice that has been mistreated and silenced. Poncia's soul opens to insist on the need to transfer to others the idea of ​​loving each other in freedom.
