The original Romanesque structure has been preserved, the three apses and the transept. The rest was replaced in the 17th century without changing the Romanesque distribution of the naves.

The three semicircular apses are covered by sphere quarters and the preceding nave sections by pointed barrel vaults. The original vault in the central section of the transept was replaced by an arched vault resting on sturdy support arches starting off the cross-shaped pillars.

The ornamental motifs of the capitals represent animals holding flat shields, a ferocious-looking lion and a serpent.

Particularly noteworthy is the Gothic image of the Virgin and Child located in the far end of the apse, attributed, due to its formal characteristics, to a member of the circle of Pedro Millán. The image dates from the late 15th century.
