Miguel Delibes Setién
The most universal and versatile Valladolid born in 1920, he is one of the main references of Spanish literature of the second half of the 20th century and until his death in 2010.
Graduate in Commerce, caricaturist, journalist and writer, his extensive professional career has been marked by a deep love and knowledge of his land. His literary creation with fifty signed works and many of them translated into a multitude of languages, has garnered the most important awards in literature from the Cervantes Prize or the National Prize for Spanish Literature to the Prince of Asturias Prize, among many others. including his appointment as a member of the Royal Spanish Academy or his investiture as an Honorary Doctor by some of the most prestigious universities.
