Exhibition in the Convent of Saint John of the Cross in Alba de Tormes.

It is an exhibition as a tribute to the illustrious women of yesterday, today and always, considering among them Saint Teresa of Ávila one of the most illustrious of all time.

In the emblematic Convent of Saint John of the Cross, a distinguished exponent of the Carmelite baroque of the 17th century, of the Order of the Barefoot Carmel, in Alba de Tormes (Salamanca), where the Sepulcher of Saint Teresa of Ávila, an exceptional woman, is venerated, and where is the Carmus Museum dedicated to her.

Organized by the Discalced Carmelites and the town council of the ducal town and with the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Salamanca, the Regional Government of Castile and León and the University of Salamanca.

This artistic exhibition is unique and singular because it is made up of a hundred works of art of painting, sculpture and historical documentation of great importance due to their quality and authorship, most of which are privately owned.
