The city of Zamora is home to twenty Romanesque landmarks. The Cathedral of El Salvador and its chapel of San Ildefonso stand out, as well as the churches of San Claudio de Olivares or Santiago del Burgo. The medieval traces are still alive in the castle, the Plaza Mayor or San Juan de Puerta Nueva, while modernism makes its way thanks to beautiful buildings with a lot of history.

A city always restless and proud of its past, it displays many of its treasures in the Zamora Museum, the Holy Week Museum or the Interpretation Center of Medieval Cities. The Ethnographic Museum of Castile and León is another of the city's cultural jewels, along with the center dedicated to the work of Baltasar Lobo.
