Rectangular in shape, with square turrets in the corners. It contains palatial rooms around a courtyard. One of the largest and better preserved castles in the province of Burgos, thanks to the restoration works the owner has carried out over the years.

A 14th-15th-century structure, belonging to several noble families, the Manrique and the Padilla families among them.
