It is considered as a defensive tower of the middle of the Middle Age, being one of the few examples of this type of buildings that have been preserved in the Ribera del Duero area. It has a square floor and elevation with a shape of pyramid. Its pre-Romanesque roots can be seen in the Mozarabic geminated windows
