Since the beginning of the seventies of the 20th century, on the last Sunday of the month of August, the Hispano-Breton horse cattle fair has been held, which highlights the morphological characteristics of the animal, by virtue of its approximation to the characteristics determined in the racial standard of the Hispano-Breton race, such as head, neck, rump, extremities and legs, among others.

The origin of this competition-exhibition is in the important and increasingly abundant equine livestock herd existing in the municipality of San Emiliano. The primary purpose is to promote the interest of ranchers who are dedicated to breeding horses of this breed, as well as to find the best specimen in each category.
