Declared a Site of Cultural Interest with the category of Monument in December 2024, it is a simple house in the historic center that preserves the characteristic typology of the Spanish pensions of the early 20th century. A space inextricably linked to the poet's stay in Segovia between 1919 and 1932. During this period, in addition to being a professor of French at the General and Technical Institute of Segovia, he collaborated in the foundation of the Popular University and lived a very intense creative period. We cannot forget the poet's relationship with Pilar de Valderrama, who will be the muse known as "Guiomar". Among many other things of interest in this space, we must especially take into account the room dedicated to the library of the Popular and Machadian University.
