Type of route
Several days

A stretch awaits you that will surprise you with its contrasts. The beginning has nothing to do with the end, nor with what you are going to see during the middle section. Get comfortable, take a good look at the helmet and "the first one down and the rest…"

Data of interest

Around

This section has four reference towns, with characteristics that denote their historical and cultural value. Ciudad Rodrigo, noble and majestic with spectacular buildings, such as its cathedral or its geometric walls, is not like Fermoselle, located on a rocky and complicated terrain, in keeping with its location in the Arribes del Duero, or the discreet Villardeciervos, with its preserved mansions and balconies, embedded in the wooded thickets of a land of wolves and legends such as the Sierra de la Culebra, and to finish Puebla de Sanabria, where the Castle of the Counts of Benavente watches over us, wherever we go, and the walk Through its streets it takes us back many centuries.

The paths are also different. The straight lines at the beginning, from the charro fields until after the Lumbrales area, will give way to very fun and attractive areas when we approach Saucelle. They are not complicated driving sections, nor particularly tiring, even more so because the landscape invites you to make stops at its many viewpoints.

To consider...

You are in a natural environment, along little-traveled roads and sparsely inhabited towns. You can see deer in the Sierra de la Culebra area and loose cattle on the way up to the Laguna de los Peces.

Gasoline should not be a problem because you have several refueling points halfway through the trip. Don't rush.
