From Valbuena de Duero (Valladolid) to Monasterio de Santa María de Valbuena

Linear path with a length of 10.1 kilometers that, starting from the town of Valbuena de Duero, crosses a moorland area to descend again to the Duero valley, next to the smaller entity of San Bernardo, annexed to the Cistercian Monastery of Saint Mary (12th century).

The trail has its starting point in Valbuena de Duero, heading north along a sidewalk next to the VP-3011 highway towards Villafuerte. We arrive at an area of ​​traditional wineries to continue a few meters along the aforementioned road and then take a path that, after crossing the works of the future Duero highway, introduces us to the Camino del Valle that progressively ascends through vegetation of pines, gall oaks, junipers and holm oaks until reaching, after just over 4 km, the flat surface of the moor. From here we can contemplate the Duero Valley towards which we descend along the Camino del Chorrillo. We continue through vineyards and wineries belonging to the Ribera del Duero DOP, until we cross the VP-3001 highway first and then the highway, and shortly after we finish the route next to the colonization town of San Bernardo, located next to the Monastery of Valbuena de Duero that It constitutes the final point of our journey in this direction of travel.
