Located in Las Medulas Natural Monument. This itinerary includes the municipalities of Borrenes, Carucedo and Puente de Domingo Flórez. It is recommended to start in the town of Orellán, although there are also other accesses next to the Casa del Parque de Carucedo.
From Orellán you ascend to the viewpoint, an ideal place to contemplate the landscape of Las Medulas. Crossing the Horta reservoir you reach the Peña Escribida Canal, from where the path heads towards the Braña recreational area. At the Mirador de las Pedrices, you can get a panoramic view of the western sector of the gold mine. Finally, we descend to the town of Las Medulas, from where the ascending path to Orellán begins.
