León DOP is, like the previous ones, a multi-provincial designation of origin that expands mainly through the province of León and a small part through Valladolid. Its main and most notable red grape variety is the native Prieto Picudo, with which great red wines are made, but especially spectacular and aromatic rosés.
Provinces of Leon and Valladolid. Duero Basin ( Esla and Valderaduey tributaries).
Wine : white, rosé and red. Mention aging, reserve and great reserve.
